Alessandra Rodrigues Prata Shimomura
Architect & Urbanist, MSc, PhD, Assistant Professor/FAUUSP
Alessandra´s interest in environmental comfort has led her to the involvement with research, teaching and practice focusing on the applicability of innovative technical knowledge in environmental suitability and comfort, urban climatology, natural ventilation, and computational simulation.

Carlos Javier Esparza López
Architect, M. Arch., Ph.D., Research Professor/UCol,
Carlos works as a researcher in building physics, particularly in thermal, passive conditioning, and habitability. He is also a bioclimatic consultant for architecture offices in Mexico and carries out bioclimatic architectural projects on his own. The areas of interest are passive conditioning systems, materials, and construction techniques.

Susana Biondi Antúnez de Mayolo
Architect & Urbanist, PhD, Professor/FAU-PUCP
Susana has been designing and teaching architecture for over 20 years, focusing on the potential of design to find sustainable solutions for each site -learning from local knowledge and profiting from global possibilities- to build environments for wellbeing, beauty and happiness.

Waldo Bustamante

Mec. Civil Eng., MSc, PhD. Professor School of Architecture, PUC-Chile. Director CEDEUS-Chile
Waldo focuses his research and teaching on bioclimatic architecture. He has led research projects on visual comfort and energy efficiency in office buildings, social housing retrofitting and net-zero energy buildings. He is director of the Centre for Sustainable Urban Development, CEDEUS_Chile.

Joana Carla Soares Gonçalves
Architect & Urbanist, MSc, PhD and Design Tutor AA-SED & ETS, Bartlett School of Architeture - UCL, AED Master Course University of Westminster, London
Architect and Urbanist, MSc, PhD. Joana is a researcher, design tutor and consultant in environmental design. She studied at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro and at the AA and got her PhD from the University of São Paulo (FAUUSP). Joana was Associate Professor of FAUUSP until 2019. Currently, she teaches at the Architectural Association School of Architecture, Bartlett School of Architecture and at the University of Westminster, in London. Joana is vice-president of PLEA.

André Eiji Sato
Architect & Urbanist, MSc, PhD Student FAUUSP and Professor/AU-DG Estácio de Carapicuíba
André is a doctoral researcher at FAUUSP and dedicates to the themes of well-being, environmental comfort and cities. In addition, he teaches at Faculdade Estácio de Carapicuíba in the courses of Architecture and Urbanism, Interior Design and Graphic Design.
